Elizabeth J. “Bette” (Reagan) Eastman, age 91, of Brockton, died peacefully in her sleep, July 2, 2015 at Baypointe Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Algot Eastman. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Newman and Janice (Campbell) Reagan. Bette was a graduate of St. Patrick High School, Class of 1942 and Kathryn Gibbs. For many years she had been the Hostess at Leonard’s Restaurant in Brockton, and retired from the Brockton Hospital School of Nursing in 1997 after 25 years. She was a fun, vivacious woman with a great sense of humor who loved her family with all her heart. She also enjoyed singing, reading and gardening.
Bette was the mother of Karen A. Bumpus and her fiance Jim Best of West Bridgewater; nana of Courtney Trupiano and her fiancé Todd Widdop of West Bridgewater and Jaclyn Stickney and her husband Adam of Kingston, NH; great nana of Nash, Holt and Lucan Stickney; sister of Richard Reagan and his wife Marion of Brockton and the late Robert Reagan. She also leaves a niece and two nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday 2-5pm followed by a Prayer Service at 5pm.
