Elsworth C. Randall, 88, of Westport Point, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at St. Anne’s Hospital. He was the husband of the late Dorothy L. (Swindlehurst) Randall.
Mr. Randall was born and raised in New Bedford, son of the late Leslie L. and Dorothy (Demoranville) Randall. He later moved to Westport Point, where he resided for more than 50 years. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a printer for Baker Graphics in New Bedford, a job he truly loved. He was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Westport since 1954 and his supreme passion was for his Savior Lord Jesus Christ. Mr. Randall was a master at jigsaw puzzles, loved dogs, model trains and Civil War history. He was a NASCAR enthusiast and a true story teller.
Survivors include his 2 brothers: Donald Randall of New Bedford and Robert Randall and his wife Lorraine of New Bedford; 4 nephews: Gordon Randall of New Bedford, Duane Randall and his wife Sonya of VA, Robert Randall and his wife Sara of Westport and Brett Randall of New Bedford; as well as several great nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mark and Debi Lees, Dave and Bev Newcomer and Emma Ward for their loyal friendship and support for Mr. Randall over the years.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, July 6, 2015 at Calvary Bible Church, Westport at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M. at the church, prior to the service.
Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford.
