Obituary

LEICESTER; Brenda "Bunny" C. Loescher, 53, of 36 Spring St., died
Saturday, June 27 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

Brenda was born in Fitchburg, Nov. 11, 1961, and grew up in Westminster,
where she attended Westminster Elementary and Oakmont Regional High.

She was currently employed at Cooper's Farm as a retail clerk and,
previously, worked in the office at Deer Pond Auto.

She was a member of the Massachusetts Agriculture in the Classroom and
served as its secretary. She was adept at fiber arts, presenting
demonstrations and lectures in spinning wool, knitting, and crochet.
She is also known throughout the area for her homemade soap.

She will be missed by her family who remember her as a loving, patient
mother. She enjoyed bird watching, loved animals and nature.

Bunny is survived by her husband of 25 years, Allan L. Gurney, a son,
Russell A. Gurney and a daughter, Evelyn M. Gurney both of Leicester;
her mother, Judith Donovan of Fitchburg; two brothers, Craig Loescher
of Fairhaven and Bruce Loescher of Westminster; two sisters, Barbara
Anderson and her husband, Sean, of Winchendon and Linda Rice of
Gardner; aunts, nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her daughter Adele Gurney in 1995 and her
father Bruce Loescher in 1998.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors who cared for Brenda
at St. Vincent Hospital.

Memorial Calling hours are Monday, July 6 from 5-7 p.m. in the MORIN
FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Internment at Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester, will be private. In lieu
of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to a
charity of one's choice.
