BEVERLY: Calista M. (Roy) Donlon, 83, died peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late John M. Donlon who died in 2004.
Born in Somerville on September 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Myron and Nellie (McConnell) Roy. She had resided in Somerville for several years before moving to Beverly over fifty years ago. Calista took great pride in being a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by three sons, John J. Donlon and his companion, Theresa Gray, Robert W. Donlon and David P. Donlon and his wife, Tammy; four grandchildren, April Plourde, Nicole Medai, Robert Donlon and Amber Donlon and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot St., Beverly at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. Interment will be held in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. of MA, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
