Richard was born on December 24, 1941, in Somerville.
He was the only child of the late Arthur and Ruth (Richey) Foote, and was the last surviving member of his family.
For a time, Mr. Foote worked as a moving man. Mr. Foote had special needs. He will be remembered by all who knew him, and especially by Lauren Adrian, Esquire, his Guardian of twenty-four years, as a kind and helpful man. He loved God, he loved people, and he loved animals. He will be missed. Mr. Foote’s Guardian wishes to express her sincere gratitude to all of the people who provided care to Mr. Foote throughout the years. She particularly wants to thank all of the caregivers at Genesis Spring Valley Center in Worcester, who provided care to Mr. Foote during the last five years of his life. Because of all of your professional and thoughtful care, Mr. Foote was happy and was able to enjoy himself.
Funeral Service will be held in the Brown-Flaherty Funeral Home, 261 Washington Street, Union Square, Somerville on Wednesday, July 1st at 11am.
