Jane Louise (Bernard) Lemire, 78, of Medway, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2015 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Laurent “Larry” A. Lemire for the past 58 years.
Born in Wilmington, Vermont, March 28, 1937, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Doris (LaRock) Bernard, Jane was raised in Wilmington and had lived in Medway since 1961.
A Homemaker, Jane was a devoted Wife, Mother & Grandmother. She enjoyed spending time furnishing memories with her family.
She was also an active member of her local Senior Center, in which she enjoyed playing cards and socializing with her peers.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her four daughters, Pamela Stoddard and her husband Matthew of Bellingham, Donna Leonardo and her husband Bob of Bellingham, Laurie Flynn and her husband Charles of Bellingham and Lisa Gebelein and her boyfriend Paul of Medway.
She is also survived by her siblings Helen Chapman of Pembroke, New Hampshire and her brother Arnold Bernard of Wilmington, Vermont.
She was the sister of the late Roberta Herman.
She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Melaney, Andrea, Richard, Nichole, Bryon, Christie, Ashley and Angela, and 14 great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 3 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
