Boscawen--- Dora G. Leroux, 94, a lifelong resident of Franklin passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home.
Dora was born in Northfield the daughter of Peter and Eva (Harbour) Gilbert. Dora married Roger L. Leroux and he preceded her in death. She was a Foster Grandparent for Paul Smith Elementary School for several years and also worked for Tilton Dress Company. She was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Franklin. Dora enjoyed sewing, making dresses for dolls, traveling and camping.
Dora is survived by a son Roger and his wife Genie Leroux of Tilton; her daughters Theresa Sylvester of Belmont and Janice Lindstrom and her husband William of Round Rock, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roger, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
There will be no calling hours.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 29, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church 110 School Street in Franklin. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Franklin.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to American Heart Association 2 Wall Street Manchester, NH 03101.
