Beulah S. Kilgore, 91, of the Pinetta Community in Irwin County, Georgia, died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Tift Health Care in Tifton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Pinetta Baptist Church, Irwin County, with Rev. Bobby Stone and Rev. Roger Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery. She will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be held from 7 until 9, Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Kilgore was born November 4, 1913, in Cleburne County, Alabama, to the late William A. and Elizabeth Carpenter Shealey. She lived in Irwin County most of her life. Mrs. Kilgore was a homemaker, a farm wife and former lunchroom lady at Mystic High School. She was a former member of the Home Demonstration Club and a member of Pinetta Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kilgore is survived by two daughters: Sarah K. Hand of Tifton and Lou Bell K. Carr of Melbourne, FL; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Kilgore, a grandson and four brothers.
