Mary (Bramante) Marchesini, died Saturday morning in the company of a loving family at the Glen Ridge Nursing Home in Medford. She was 85.
Born and raised in Boston’s West End, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Olypia (Condelli) Bramante. Mary lived in Medford for iver 50 years. Before her retirement, she worked amny years as an administrator with Lester Burdik Insurance in Boston. She enjoyed the company of family and friends and was a member of Medford’s Senior Citizens Club.
She was the beloved wife of the late John Marchesini. She was a devoted sister to Connie Ruggiero, Celia Lodi, Danny, Bernard, Salvatore, Frank, Jimmy, Peter, Dolores, Christine Bramante and the late Rose Interrante and Olympia Sharpe. She was a loving aunt to Joan Lodi, Maria Muller, Louis, Wayne, and Karen Ruggiero, Debra Boles, Joseph Interrante, Rosann Panico and many other loving nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many dear aunts and uncles.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Thursday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home, Wednesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Services will conclude with burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions be made in Mary’s name to the Italian Home For Children, 1125 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
