Obituary

Worcester- Alice E. (Kennedy) Trembowicz, 89, of Marion, MA, formerly of Worcester, died Tuesday, April 5, in Forestview Nursing Home, Wareham.
Her husband of 30 years, Chester C. Trembowicz, died in 1983. She leaves a son, Richard L. Trembowicz of Essex; two daughters, Catherine M. Zimmerman and her husband Myron of Needham, and Judith A. Jachimczyk of Marion, with whom she lived; two sisters, Marie Alexandrini and her husband Sylvio of Floral Park, Long Island and Helen Gilbert of Ridge, Long Island; six grandchildren, Thomas Jachimczyk, Kristen Jachimczyk, Michelle Zimmerman, Michael Zimmerman, Mark Zimmerman, and Zachary Trembowicz; numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, John Kennedy of the Bronx and Robert Kennedy of Ridge, Long Island. She was born in New York, NY, daughter of John and Mary (Sullivan) Kennedy and moved to Worcester in 1953, where she lived until moving to Marion in 2000.
Mrs. Trembowicz was a patient information operator at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester for 30 years, retiring in 1982.
She was a member of Ascension Parish, Worcester, and a former member of St. Joseph Parish, Harlem, New York, NY.
The funeral will be held Saturday, April 9, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Ascension Church, 40 Vernon St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 8, in the funeral home.
