Mark David Lemieux, 31, of Vernon Drive, Chepachet, died tragically Monday, June 22, 2015. He was the devoted husband of Carrie A. (Barba) Lemieux and loving father of Keira Lemieux.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the beloved son of Richard E. Lemieux of Glocester and Janie A. (Cline) Diggle of Kerhonkson, NY. Mark worked as a mechanic with his father at their family-owned business, Inland Marine in Chepachet.
Mark was an Eagle Scout with Troop 1 North Scituate. Mark had a huge heart. He was a kind, generous man who would never hurt a soul. He had the gift of making whoever he came in contact with feel as if they were family.
Besides his wife he is survived by his step-father, Gary Diggle of Kerhonkson, NY, his siblings, Geoff Lemieux of Chepachet, Tim Diggle of Kerhonkson, NY, Kelli Diggle of Palmer, MA, Bryan Diggle of Newport and Ashley Gonyea of Chepachet, his grandparents Russell and Margaret “Ruth” Lemieux of Harmony and Norma Cline of Charlton, MA, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
His visitation will be held Friday from 3-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
