Obituary

DUDLEY - John J. Wieloch, Sr., 77, formerly of Webster, died Sunday, June 21, 2015 at home with his wife at his side after being stricken ill.
He leaves his wife of 54 years, Rosemary H. (Meleika) Wieloch; a son, John J. Wieloch, Jr. and his wife Mary Wieloch of Thompson, CT. He was preceded in death by his brother, George Wieloch.
He was born in Webster, a son of George A. and Helen (Paproch) Wieloch. He was a graduate of Saint Joseph Elementary School and a graduate of Bartlett High School class of 1956
He was an 8 year veteran of the Army National Guard.
Mr. Wieloch worked as a sheet metal technician for many years at Webster Sheet Metal, retiring in 1995.
He was a communicant of Saint Joseph Basilica. He was a life member of the Blackstone Valley Beagle Club and a former member of the Singletary Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, he tied his own flies for fishing and enjoyed hunting and camping. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada. He was a loving and devoted caretaker for his wife and will be missed greatly.
The funeral will be held Friday, June 26, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will provide the military honors at the cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:15 AM Friday in the funeral home.
