Obituary

SALEM - David W. Langlois, 77, of Salem, husband of Jacqueline “Jackie” (Osborne) Langlois, died Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late James E. and Helen (Pechinsky) Langlois.

Mr. Langlois served in the US Navy from 1957 to 1959 and sailed aboard the Destroyer, USS The Sullivans, in operations in the Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea.

David was employed for many years by the Kelleher Fuel and Construction Company in Beverly.

He enjoyed his many vacations where he traveled to Iceland, several European countries and visited most of the United States.

Besides his wife, Jackie, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Theresa Langlois of Twentynine Palms, CA, David and Christina Langlois of Haverhill, one daughter Tiffany Marie Paquette of South Hampton, NH, 4 grandchildren, Jordan Marie, Matthew, Christopher, Andrew, one great grandchild, Allison Marie Edwards, one sister, Laura Krenzel of Beverly and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Heather Jeanne Langlois and brother of the late Kenneth and James Langlois.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 10 am at the St. Peter Episcopal Church, 24 St. Peter Street, Salem. There are no visiting hours. Burial is in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Arrangements are by the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem.
