Virginia T. "Ginna" (Todd) Mello, 50, of Mattapoisett died April 25, 2002 at home after a long illness.
She was the wife of Phillip Mello,and daughter of the late David and Geraldine (Field) Todd.
Mrs. Mello was born in Lincoln and had lived in Mattapoisett for most of her life.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and tennis. Mrs. Mello was actively involved with Old Rochester Regional High School sports while her son attended.
Survivors include her husband; a son, John T. Mello of Mattapoisett; 2 brothers, David Todd, Jr., and Michael O'Brien, both of Mattapoisett; a sister, Polly Henshaw of Mattapoisett; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service in Cushing Cemetery, Mattapoisett, Monday, April 29th at 12 Noon. Visiting hours are omitted.
