WORCESTER-Dorothy E. (Wells) Vaught, 77, of 39 Seminole Drive, died Sunday, March 27th in Hospice Residence. She leaves her beloved husband of 48 years Robert L. Vaught, 4 daughters, Kathleen A. Vaught-Oh Eigeartaigh of Roslindale, Laura M. Lincoln of Cedar Park, TX, Colleen K. McGinn of Worcester and Elizabeth C. Biernik of Liverpool, NY, a brother, David Wells of Lakewood, CO, a sister Mary Biehl of Bettendorf, IA, 7 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A brother Robert Wells predeceased her.
She was born in Kansas the daughter of John S. and Agnes (McCallum) Wells and was a graduate of Kansas State College. She had worked as a Secretary for Assumption College for 20 years. Mrs. Vaught was a life long volunteer for numerous organizations throughout many states, most recently working with Blessed Sacrament Church.
The funeral is Friday April 1st from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant Street. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Thursday, March 31st from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
