BRIDGEWATER - Pauline (Wallent) Jacintho, of Bridgewater died Thursday, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Joseph V. Jacintho.
Born, raised and educated in Abington, she was a daughter of the late John and Doris (Giniewicz) Wallent.
Mrs. Jacintho graduated with honors from Wheaton College in Norton.
For several years, she was with the Center for International Studies at MIT.
After moving to Bridgewater, Mrs. Jacintho bought and sold antiques and attended many antique shows and auctions.
She also served on several town committees and at one time, was chairman of the advisory board in Bridgewater.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two brothers, John Wallent of North Kingston, R.I., and Michael Wallent of New Orleans; a sister, Marilyn Wallent of Abington; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rockland.
