Preston Eugene Teal, 78, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, March 25, 2005 at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at held 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 28, 2005, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Interment will follow Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00, Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Teal was born March 21, 1927, in Dodge County, Georgia, to the late William Preston and Mary Elizabeth Achord Teal. He served in the United States Army, during the Korean War Conflict and retired from the Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia. Mr. Teal was a member of the American Legion, Post # 99 in Fitzgerald. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Teal is survived by his wife: Myra G. Teal, Fitzgerald; daughters and sons-in-law: Teresa and Kip Cornman of Warner Robins, Myra and Harry Foskey of Cochran and Nira and Phil Taylor of Tifton; grandchildren: Paul, Wesley and Stacy Cornman, all of Warner Robins, Phillip Taylor of Tifton and Christopher Foskey of Cochran; great-grandchildren: Bridget, Devin, Megan, Ryan and Elijah Cornman, all of Warner Robins and Tessa Taylor of Tifton. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melissa Foskey, two brothers and four sisters.
