Gasser, Robert “Bob” Allen, 61, of Louisville, went home to his Heavenly Father Sunday, June 14, 2015.
He was surrounded by his loving wife and two children when he was called home.
He was a diehard U of K fan, loved fishing with his son. He and his daughter had a relationship that only a father and daughter could understand. He was her rock, most of all he loved relaxing on his front porch with his best friend, his wife.
Bob had retired from MSD after 25 years of service and currently worked for Graf’s Liquor Store.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Georgia Gasser.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Debby (Nanna) Gasser; daughter, Jenny Gasser (Derek Braden); son, Scott Gasser (Megan Dodson); and his grandson, Cooper Lee who was the light of his life; sister, Linda Elzy; brother, Allen Gasser.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday.
