LOWELL—Arthur Tsimbidaeros, 89 years old, died Sunday March 20th, at Saints Memorial Medical Center, after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Hareclea (Stefakos) Tsimbidaros, who died in 1996.
He was born in Lowell, on February 25, 1916, a son of the late Vasilios and Maria (Karabatis) Tsimbidaros, and a graduate of the Lowell Public School System and Lowell Commercial College.
Mr. Tsimbidaros served in the United States Army during World War II. He had been employed at Saints Memorial Medical Center, as a Materials Control Manager. Previously he had worked for Avco, the Boston Navy Yard, Lowell Lingere, and Cherry Burrell, in Boston.
Surviving him are a daughter: Maria Bidaros, of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services and burial were held Wednesday, March 23rd.
