Frances E. MacDonald, 79, of Derry, NH, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005 in Sunbridge of Exeter. Mrs. MacDonald was born in Manchester, NH on October 5, 1925, a daughter of the late Orrin and Frances E. (Small) McDuffee and was a resident of Derry for most of her life. Mrs. MacDonald was employed as a shoeworker for Chelmsford Shoe Co., Jodi Shoe Co., Klev-Bro Shoe Co. and the Derry Shoe Co. where she was a stitching instructor. She had also been employed by Hadco Printed Circuits in Derry, retiring in 1993. Mrs. MacDonald was a former member and Past President of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Ladies Auxillary. She attended the Londonderry United Methodist Church. She was an avid Bingo player and loved to gamble.
She is survived by her husband, Harlan A. MacDonald of Derry, one son, Wayne D. MacDonald of Derry, one sister, Edna Sears of Homosassa, FL, a nephew and several grandnieces.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 25th at 10:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. The burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in East Derry. Friends may call on Thursday from 6 - 9pm at the funeral home.
