LOWELL—Eleanor M. King, 87 years old, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Sunday March 20th, at the Wentworth Skilled Care Center, after a long illness.
She was born in Lowell, on August 14, 1917, a daughter of the late John J. and Elizabeth A. (Burns) King. She graduated from the Immaculate Conception Grammar School and Lowell High School.
For many years, Eleanor was employed by the Beneficial Finance Company, in downtown Lowell, as a loan processor. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church and held membership in various church organizations.
Surviving her are a brother and sister-in-law: Thomas F. and Edna R. King, of Lowell; two cousins: Barbara A. King, of Billerica; and Claire A. King, of Lowell; also several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Catherine K. Pisani, Mary E. King and Anne K. Dally.
Private services and burial were held today.
