WORCESTER-Walter J. McGrail, Jr., 82, formerly of 101 May Street, died Monday, March 21st in Dodge Park Rest Home. He leaves his sister Elizabeth G. Racicot of Worcester and nephews and nieces.
He was born in Worcester the son of Walter J. and Elizabeth G. (McQuillan) McGrail, Sr., and was a graduate of Commerce High School, and served in the U. S Army during World War 2. Mr. McGrail had been a custodian for the Worcester Public Schools for many years before retiring. He was an avid circus fan, enjoyed gardening, photography, and was a volunteer for the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and loved animals.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, March, 24th at 10:30 AM in St. John’s Cemetery. Please omit flowers and make contributions to the NEADS, P. O. Box 213, West Boylston, MA 01583. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
