Richard F. Demers, 63, of Centennial, Co. died on June 2nd after a brief battle with cancer. A native of Chicopee, MA. Rich was a graduated of Chicopee Comprehensive High School, and American International College. In 1979 he moved to Miami, Florida where he raised his family. In 2000, Rich and family moved to Denver Co., where he was employed in sales with Equifax Marketing Solutions. Richard was a long honored salesman, having spent over 40 years in the business. Richard was a quick witted, entertaining guy who attracted many friends. He was always willing to play ball with the kids or lend a helping hand. He was an active member of the "Dig and Dream" gardening club and a long time animal lover. He was predeceased by his father, Richard H. Demers. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Pat (Jagodowski ) Demers, and two sons, Ryan and Rory Demers of Denver, Co. He is also survived by his mother, Lauria Demers, sister, Lynette (Michael) Jozefczyk, brothers Robert, Kenneth (Lauren Duquette), Thomas Demers, and numerous nephews and nieces. A Memorial Mass to honor Rich will be held on Saturday June 27th at 11, at St. Anthony de Padua Church in Chicopee. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
