Ruby passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 16, 2015 after a long fight against cancer. Ruby was born March 5, 1948 in Osceola, WI to Harland and Lucille Vitalis. She lived and went to school in Taylors Falls and received her graduate degree from UW-River Falls. She spent her career as a speech pathologist for 39 years in the White Bear Lake and St. Paul Public School Systems and was actively involved in the Stillwater Elk's Lodge. She lived in the Woodbury Area for over 35 years and dedicated her life as a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a magnetic personality and was a true joy to know. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Marvin; her children, Julie (Doug) Hersk, Jenica (Gregg) Jones, and Jeff; grandchildren Kaylen and Everett; and her brother, Harland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harland and Lucille Vitalis. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 21st at 3 PM at the Stillwater Elks Lodge, 5880 Omaha Ave N.
