Nathan Louis Grise MacDonald, 15, of Manchester died March 19, 2005 at Children’s Hospital in Boston after a year-long battle with cancer.
He was born in Manchester on November 22, 1989, the son of Richard L. Grise and Sheila MacDonald. He graduated from Parkside Junior High School and was the school’s 2004 Citizen of the Year recipient. He was currently a freshman at Manchester West High School.
He loved school and enjoyed playing football and being active in the school chorus.
He was a communicant of St. Catherine Church.
Members of his family include his mother, Sheila MacDonald of Manchester; his father, Richard L. Grise of Manchester; a brother, Louis J. Rochette of Manchester; a sister, Sarah P. MacDonald of Manchester; grandmother, Pat Phillips of Canterbury, CT; step-father, Kevin Rochette of Foster, RI; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Catherine Church on Wednesday March 23, 2005. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
