LACONIA – Joseph A. “Joe” Fay, 82, of 231 Lynnewood Road, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 at St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Laconia.
He was born on July 27, 1932 in Boston, MA, the son of the late Joseph F. and Anna (Pezzini) Fay. Joe served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Joe worked for over 32 years as the Director of Environmental Services for St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He enjoyed reading.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Julianne (Donohue) Fay of Laconia and two sons; Anthony J. Fay of Florida and Stephen Fay of Gilmanton.
Calling hours will be held from 4PM to 7PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at St. Andre Bessette Parish - St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia. Burial will be private.
