Katherine Louise "Kate" (Barnes) Rogers

ARKANSAS--Katherine Louise "Kate" (Barnes) Rogers, 83, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Friday, June 5, 2015 in Ozark. She was retired from Delco-Remy-General Motors and a member of First Nazarene Church of Anderson, Indiana.
Katherine taught Sunday school classes and was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt.
She was born October 4, 1931 in Anderson, Indiana, to William and Mary Smith Barnes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Therman D. Rogers, granddaughter Missy Moore, Great Grandson Wyatt Moore, her sister Elma Hudson, and two brothers; Virgil and Robert Barnes.
She is survived by a daughter Lana Derexson and husband James of Ozark; a son Danny Rogers and wife Nancy of Anderson, Indiana; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are nieces Carla Ulmer and Bethany Barnes and nephews Allen Lee Hudson, Terry Gene Cook, and Tony and Robert Patrick Barnes; fourteen great-nieces and nephews; seventeen great-great nieces and nephews and three great-great-great nephews.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at First Church of the Nazarene; 2324 Jackson Street; Anderson with Rev. Gary Klinger officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to First Church of the Nazarene.
