Venilde Estrella, age 83, of Fall River passed away on June 6, 2015. Born in Fenais de Luz, São Miguel, Açores she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Estrella DeRosa, and the wife of Manuel Estrella. She was a floor lady at Tic Toc Frocks, an avid sports fan, enjoyed watching her soap operas, shopping, going out to eat, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children; Gabriela Pimentel (husband John), Joseph Estrella (wife Nancy), Albert Estrella (wife Stephanie) and Tiberio Estrella, siblings; Maria do Carmo, and Clotilde Rego, grandchildren; Christine, Kevin, Julia, Michaela, and Dylan, great- grandchildren Emily and Quinn, step grandchildren Brenda and Michael and several nieces and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Michael Pimentel.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on THURSDAY here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael’s Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on WEDNESDAY from 5-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
