Obituary

Archibald Kell, Sr., 79, of Franklin, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the Milford Regional Medical Center.

Born in Franklin on December 17, 1935, he was the son of the late Archibald and Anna F. (Desper) Kell.

Mr. Kell was a lifelong resident of Franklin and proudly served in the Army from 1956-1957.

Before his retirement, he worked at Stobbart’s Nurseries in Franklin for many years.

Mr. Kell enjoyed attending the annual Feast of St. Rocco in Franklin. He loved riding the train and was an avid horse fan.

He is survived by three sisters Eleanor “Babe” Wilfert of Plainville, Inez Pigeon of New Hampshire and Marion Murray of Whitinsville, a brother William Kell of Iowa and many nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by two sons and his adored grandchildren.

He was the brother of the late Anna Fusco and Charles Kell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Monday, June 8 from 9 – 10 a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street in Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow at Center Cemetery in Wrentham.
