Kevin M. Robinson, a resident of North Andover and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Monday June 1, 2015 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a courageous two year battle with cancer. He was 46 years old.
Kevin was born in Cambridge on May 27, 1969, a son of Sally (Dunbar) Robinson and Chester "Chet" Robinson. He grew up in Charlestown and was educated at St. Anthony's Parochial School in Everett and graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School in Boston in 1987. Following high school, Kevin furthered his education and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design from Fitchburg State College in 1991. Kevin worked as a Customer Service Representative for the R.R. Donnelly Company(formerly Bowne of Boston) for 22 years. Kevin was an avid Boston sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots. Kevin was also a voracious reader and history buff. Kevin will be missed by all, and he will be remembered as a loving and generous man.
Kevin is the beloved son of Sally (Dunbar) Robinson of Saugus and Chester "Chet" Robinson and his wife Lorraine Hames of Watertown. He is the beloved brother of Steve Robinson and his wife Alexis of San Jose, CA. He is the loving uncle to Haley and Ian Robinson. Kevin is the loving nephew of Rita Dunbar, Billy O'Neil, and the late Peg O'Neil and Jack Dunbar. Kevin is the great nephew of Josephine Ferguson. Kevin is also survived by many loving cousins, loyal friends, and co-workers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kevin's Funeral on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. His burial will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
