Elsie Mae (King) Dollar

Elsie Mae (King) Dollar, 83, of Elwood, died suddenly at Community Hospital.
She was born March 7, 1932 in Kentucky to George and Verna (Whitaker) King.
She worked 17 years at Brookside Corp.
She enjoyed dancing and gardening and loved her grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Dollar of Elwood whom she married October 7, 1960 in Anderson; four children, Sue (Ed) Harris and Mary (Harry) Porter all of Anderson; Kenny Dollar and Tammie (Russell) Reed all of Elwood; brother, William "Buddy" King; sister, Rosie (Jackie) Kemper; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bobby, Junie and Melvin and a daughter, Faye Wanda House.
Services will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, with Rev. John Hackney officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 am until the service at 1 on Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association.
