Jean Elizabeth Feehan, 80, of Nashua, NH died May 29th, 2015 after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Forge Village, Westford, MA on August 25, 1934, she was the daughter of William and Esther (Blodgett) Supple. She was educated in the Chelmsford school system, graduated from Chelmsford High School and received her bachelor’s degree in education from Fitchburg State University.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed by the Chelmsford Public Library for many years.
Throughout her life, Jean devoted many hours to volunteering for organizations such as CASA, Visiting Angels, and the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. She was also a longtime communicant of Immaculate Conception Parish in Nashua where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Her greatest passions were painting, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends who will always remember her for her kind and gentle spirit.
Family members include her husband of 57 years, Alton Feehan of Nashua; her children, Mark (who was predeceased in 1998), Susan Carelli of Chelmsford, MA, Michael Feehan and wife Karen of Nashua, Maureen Ramos and husband Juan of Nashua, Ellen Kouchalakos and husband Bill of Nashua, Bill Feehan and Ruby of Nashua; her grandchildren, Alex, Chrissy, Matty, Josh, Dan, Devon, Mikayla, Zach, and Steven; one brother, Richard Supple and wife Marilyn of Chelmsford; nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial Mass was celebrated on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church in Nashua.
Donations may be made in Jean’s memory to the Merrimack Valley Hospice or to Marguerite's Place in Nashua.
