CHERRY VALLEY___Katherine R. (Slowaski) Marcinkiewicz, 89, formerly of 81 McCarthy Ave., died Wednesday March 16 in St. Mary Health Care Center, Worcester.
Her husband, William Marcinkiewicz died in 1959. She leaves nephews and nieces including Sandra Weagle of Auburn. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Walter Slowaski, Henry Slowaski and Sophie Johnson. She was born in Clinton, daughter of Andrew and Eleanora (Lemanski) Slowaski and then lived in Worcester before moving to Cherry Valley many years ago.
Mrs. Marcinkiewicz was a head cashier many years for Richard Healy’s and retired in 1972. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Katherine was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Worcester.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 19 in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours.
