WEBSTER – Laurence J. “Larry” McLachlan, 61, of 8 Clark St., died Thursday, March 17, in the Hospice at Coes Pond, Worcester, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He leaves a sister, Joan F. Bruso of Webster; a sister-in-law, Elke McLachlan of Webster; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert M. McLachlan, in 2003.
He was born in Webster, a son of Lawrence G. and Dorothy A. (Downs) McLachlan, and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from St. Louis High School and the New England School of Accounting.
Mr. McLachlan was a bookkeeper at the Southern Worcester County Rehabilitation Center in Webster. He was a member of St. Louis Church.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 21, in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to the Hospice at Coes Pond, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA 01602.
