Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 7:45 am. Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, 370 Middleboro Ave., E.Taunton at 9 am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm.
Obituary
Mrs. Michienzi died Tuesday evening at the Brockton Hospital surrounded by her family after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Anthony M. Michienzi. Born and raised in Brockton, daughter of Helen (Mendosa) Winn of Brockton and the late John Winn. She had been a resident of Taunton for the past four years and previously lived in W. Bridgewater. She was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1959 and a member of the reunion committee. She retired as a receptionist of Brockton Hospital after several years, previously she worked for 12 years at the South Side Shaws as a cashier and at the lunch counter. She was past member of the Catholic Mother’s Club.
Mrs. Michienzi loved doting on her grandchildren, shopping and cooking. She had been a communicant of the Holy Family Church, E. Taunton and previously St. Ann’s Church, W. Bridgewater and St. Margaret Church, Brockton.
She is survived by a son, Thomas A. Michienzi of Cumberland, RI; 2 daughters, Julie A. Mather of E. Taunton and Jayne M. Griffin of Sanford, ME. Her mother Helen E. Winn of Brockton, four grandchildren and a brother, John “Kevin” Winn of W. Bridgewater and several nieces and nephews.
