John W.E. Davis Jr. of Manomet MA passed away peacefully at home on May 17 2015. John leaves behind his lovely bride of 67 years Barbara (Raymond) Davis. John was the loving father of Jack, Patricia, Dwight and the late Carl Davis. He leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
John was born to John W.E. and Euphemia (Watson) Davis o..n 19 June 1928 in Plymouth MA. John remained a hometown resident throughout his life . Heleavesbehind many friends . He retired in 2005 as Foreman for the Plymouth Department of Public Works. John was a good Christian man, founding member of the John Alden Sportsmen’s Club and a member of the Masons Lodge.
A memorial Service will be held at the Second Church Congregational Manomet, at the corner of White Horse Road and State Road , Saturday June 6, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Manomet Cemetery In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to theAlzheimersResearchon.
