Marie I. (Irrera) Murray of Dedham, died March 12, 2005 at the Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood. She was 88. Mrs. Murray was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late Santo & Antonia (Gaglio) Irrera. She worked as a supervisor for General Linen Services. She was a resident of Dedham for 40 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late Alphonsus Gerard Murray. Devoted mother of the late Loretta Telch and Gerard Murray. She is survived by sisters, Antoinette Fortini of Florida, and Ellie Vaccaro of New Hampshire. Also survived by her grandchildren, Ronald Brown of Antelope, CA, Richard Brown of Dedham, Robyn Gearty of Norwood, and Christine Murray of Marshfield. Her great grandchildren, Kerry, Karyn, and Robert Brown, Alyssa, Caitlin, Danielle and Briana Gearty, and Gerard Murray. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Thursday at 8 am. Funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 9 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4-8 pm. Interment private.
