Hogg, Jr., Earl “Sonny,” 69, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at his residence.
He was born in Letcher County, KY to Earl and Willie Mae (Benton) Hogg. Earl was a retired Parts Salesman for Byerly Ford, with over 25 years of service and a longtime member of Beechland Baptist Church, Valley Masonic Lodge # 511 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine, O.E.S. Chapter #511, and the River City Corvette Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Priscilla (Taylor) Hogg and his second wife, Jacqueline (DeGraff) Hogg. Survivors include his loving daughter, Tina Mack (Tim); a grandson, Thomas Mack; two sisters, Anna Jo Jones (Jimmy) and Sue Basham; three nieces and nephews, James E Jones (Peggy), Larry Jones (Vicky) and Angie Jones; a great nephew, Kenny Jones; his “second daughter” Jami Thompson; his loving dog, “Brandy” and many many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 NOON Friday Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be Thursday 3:00 – 8:00 PM and Friday after 9:00 AM. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
