Darice Rene' Laster
July 29, 1956 - May 24, 2015
Darice Rene' Laster, 58, of Anderson passed away peacefully on May 24, 2015 at Community Hospital.
She was born on July 29, 1956 and was a lifelong resident of Markleville and Anderson, Indiana.
She graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1974, and attended Indiana University where she was certified in dental radiography.
She enjoyed studying sign language, traveling and playing the piano.
She was employed for 32 years as a dental assistant. She was also a realtor for Holden Realty for several years.
She is survived by her devoted and loving companion of 23 years, Bill Pitts, her parents Gerald Laster and Edna (Embry) Laster, a sister, Jeri (Bruce) Van Dyne; a brother, David Laster, three nephews, Jordan (Yana) Erik and Mark Van Dyne, Bill's daughters, Christy Whipple, and Beth Pitts and the delight of her life, Lillianne Tan.
A celebration of Darice's life will be held at the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service Friday May 29, 2015 at 6:00 P.M.
Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
Darice had chosen to be cremated. She was an organ donor.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in her name.
