John H. McCook, 76, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Dorminy Medical Center, Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Ocilla, with Rev. Charles Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Turner Church Cemetery, Tift County, Georgia. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 Monday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mr. McCook was born November 22, 1928, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late James W. and Mollie Rachel Barnes McCook. He lived in the community all of his life and was a retired Carpenter.
Mr. McCook is survived by his brother: Ozelee McCook, Box Springs, GA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by two sisters, Juanita Walker and Watrelle McGee and six brothers, James William, Harold, Carl, Earl, Jimmy McCook and an infant.
