David E. Duval, 65 of Auburn, NH died Saturday May 23, 2015 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH following a courageous battle with cancer. David was born in Manchester on May 19, 1950, a son of the late Edmond L. and Germaine E. (Lamb) Duval. He was a graduate of Bishop Bradley High School in Manchester Class of 1968. David proudly served with the US Army in country during the Vietnam War. David loved his work as a truck driver, driving for several companies including Haron Corp., DBU, and Northwood Power Equipment. David was a life member of the DAV, a member of the Manchester Elks Lodge #146, and a member of the American Legion in Hooksett, NH. David loved and respected his Vietnam brothers MC. David treasured his son James and his grandson, Tristan.
He is survived by his wife, Margie (Nye) Duval of Auburn, NH, one son, James McEvoy and his wife Sheila of Auburn, his grandson, Tristan McEvoy of Auburn, three siblings, Donald E. Duval and his wife Janice and their children, Donald Jr., and Cheryl-Lynn, Dennis E. Duval and his children, Chantelle and Kathleen, and Donna E. Petterson and her husband William and their children, Cassandra and Brady.
At David’s request, there are no calling hours or public services. The family will hold private memorial services at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
