Obituary

LEICESTER; Richard T. Wolanski, 86, of 30 Pleasant St., died Friday, May 22 at Quaboag Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 64 years, Dorathy A. (Harrington) Wolanski, three sons; Richard D. Wolanski and his wife Rosemary of Leicester, Stephen T. Wolanski of Spencer, Robert W. Wolanski and his wife Shannon of Worcester, a daughter, Kathleen M. Sharry and her husband Joseph of Worcester, two brothers; Francis Wolanski and his wife Roberta of Holden, Bernard Wolanski and his wife Elizabeth of Worcester, two sisters; Kathleen Mayer of Worcester, Theresa Wamback of North Brookfield, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by two brothers, David and John Wolanski.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of John & Mabel (Lucia) Wolanski.

He was a graduate of Worcester Boys Trade. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War.

Dick was a printer for over 40 years, retiring from New England Envelope as a production control manager in 1989.

He was a Little League coach and cub scout leader. He was known for his extensive knowledge of antiques and collectibles. He was devoted to his family and the love of his life, Dorathy. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Richard's life will be held on a future date. The MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester, is assisting the family with arrangements.
