Margaret Fuller
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, May 21, 2015, Mrs. Margaret “Marge” W. Fuller, 91, loving wife of 69 years to Joseph “Joe” B. Fuller.
Marge was born in Cleveland, OH but moved to California at an early age and lived in the San Francisco Bay area until moving to Augusta in 1946. She met her husband while he was in the Navy during World War II. They were married in April 1946 at Mare Island Naval Base, California.
She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and was active in The “Pink Lady” program at St. Joseph Hospital for many years. She taught 1st and 3rd grade at T. Harry Garrett School for 24 years until her retirement.
Family members in addition to her husband include her sons: Russell M. Fuller (Phyllis) of Cary, NC, and Joseph ‘Pete” Fuller (Kay) of Fernandina Beach, FL; grandchildren: Christy, Barry, Andy, and Michael; and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur R. and Margaret F. Wake.
A graveside service will be Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Chaplain Mike Riddle officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Life Care Resident Support Endowment at Brandon Wilde, 4275 Owens Rd., Evans, GA 30809.
