LIA, GREECE-Theofanis Tsantinis, 74 of Lia, Epirus, Greece died Wednesday, March 8th in Greece. His wife of 47 years, Xanthoula (Stratis) Tsantinis died in 1998. He leaves 3 sons, Tony and his wife, Christine Tsantinis of East Brookfield, Jimmy and his wife, Janet Tsantinis of Auburn and Greg and his wife, Kathy Tsantinis of Worcester, 6 beloved grandchildren, Andy, Rona, Anita, Nick, Theo and Alex. 2 sisters, Anna Bokas and Xantho Panagiotis and a brother Antonios Tsantinis all of Igoumenitsa, Greece and many nephews and nieces.
He was born in Lia, Epirus the son of Antonios and Anastasia Tsantinis and came to the United States in 1969. He owned and operated Angelo’s House of Pizza in Waltham for many years. He retired in 1992 and returned to his beloved village, Lia. There he enjoyed gardening, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
The funeral service was held Friday, March 11th in Greece. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing local arrangements.
