Christina Henry Kasinger, 33, of Needham died Tuesday March 8, 2005 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was the wife of James R. Kasinger.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of Atty. James L. and Diana M. (Arruda) Henry of New Bedford, she lived in Needham for the past 4 years.
Mrs. Kasinger was formerly employed as a pediatric physical therapist for Partners Healthcare.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School. She earned her Bachelors degree from Wheaton College and her Masters degree from Northeastern University. She was a member of the American Association of Physical Therapists. She was an avid reader.
Survivors include her husband; her parents; a daughter, Julia Rose Kasinger of Needham; a brother, James A. Henry of Somerville; two nieces and a nephew; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 12, 2005 at 11 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, New Bedford. Visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Friday March 11, 2005 from 4-8 PM.
