ANNA MACEREA (DeVellis)
Anna Macera (DeVellis) of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville passed on Thursday March 28, 2002 at the Woburn Nursing Center after a brief illness. She was 92 years of age.
Born in Italy, Mrs. Macera cam to the United States at a very young age. She lived in Somerville for several years before moving to Stoneham many years ago.
She was a loving wife, mother grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was first and foremost in her life.
Anna was the loving wife of the late Benedetto Macera. She is survived by her son Salvatore Macera of Cape Cod. She was the mother of the late Theresa DiCiaccio and Connie Filosa. Anna is the cherished grandmother of John, Diane, Lynn and Laurie DiCiaccio, Stephen and Matthew Filosa, Michael, Richard, and Michelle Macera. Also by many great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Salvatore DeVellis, Cosmo DeVellis, Mary DiSarcina and Jennie DiSarcina.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. Stoneham Tuesday from 4-8 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church 71 Central St. Stoneham Wednesday at 10:00am
