Michael Charles Taurasi, a life-long Medford resident died Monday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, after abrief illness. He was 60. Michael was born in Everett, and lived his whole life in West Medford.
He was the special child of Margaret (DePietro) and the late Anthony V. Taurasi. He was the beloved brother of Anthony V. Taurasi, Jr. and his wife Patricia E. of Dedham. He was a loving uncle to Anthony V. Taurasi, III of Dedham and Elizabeth M. Taurasi of West Medford. He was the adored nephew of Alfred DePietro of Georgetown, Robert DePietro of Everett and Maine, the late Edith Nicosia, Rose DePietro, Eve C. Daley, E. Maria DePietro, Helen Coughlin, John and William DePietro. He is also survived by many loving cousins.
Michael’s funeral will be from his late residence, 27 Pine Ridge Road, West Medford, Friday at 9:15 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10 :15 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at his late residence, Thursday 4 thru 8. Interment will be private.
