Karen Lynne (Strange) Modica of Providence RI, formerly of Medway died on Monday February 28, 2005. She was 51 years old. Karen was a graduate of Medway High School and lived in Medway for many years before moving to the Providence area several years ago. Most recently Karen worked as a caregiver. She was the daughter of Joan (Clews) Shea and her husband Ronald Shea of Sterling and Robert Strange of Florida and the granddaughter of Eunice F. Bradley of Sterling and CA. Sister of Robert Strange Jr. of PA, Michael Strange of VA, Timothy Strange of FL, Katherine Rector of CA, Laura Hadley of Sterling, Ronald Shea Jr. of Hull, Sean P. Shea of Westport, Jason Strange and Kenra Strange both of PA. Karen is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins and numerous friends. A Funeral Service will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Thursday March 10 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Needham Cemetery.
