Charles A. “Red” Morse, Jr., 83, of Manchester, NH died Saturday March 5, 2005 at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester following a brief illness. He was born in Manchester on November 27, 1921, a son of the late Charles A. and Ruth (Berry) Morse, Sr. He was a resident of Manchester for 55 years, formerly living in Londonderry, NH. He was a retired member of the Teamsters Local #633 of Manchester. Red, as he was known, loved the outdoors and spending time at his camp. He enjoyed wood working and collecting model cars. He was also a devoted family man.
He is survived by his wife Louise (Trombley) Morse of Manchester, two daughters, Barbara Grenier of Hooksett, Linda Olsen of Bedford, one son, Andrew Morse of Manchester, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, also nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 10th at 10:00am at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Burial will be in the Spring in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Londonderry. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9pm at the funeral home.
