Obituary

Gerald P. “Gerry” Kennedy, 69, of Londonderry, NH died Saturday March 5, 2005 in the Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, MA following a sudden illness. Gerry was born in New York City, NY on June 21, 1935 a son of the late Harold and Veronica (Schrempf) Kennedy. He had resided in Londonderry since 1969, formerly living in East Longmeadow, MA. He was a US Army veteran of the cold war having served in Germany. His career in sales included working for companies such as, Union Carbide, Borden Chemical, Atlas Alloys and more recently Wilkinson Manufacturing. Gerry was a communicant of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry. He was a volunteer with Care Givers of New Hampshire. Gerry was also an avid tennis player.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Russillo) Kennedy of Londonderry, three daughters, Susan Ankeny of Wayzata, MN, Jennifer Kennedy of Boston, MA, Alexandra Hasselbrink of Michigan, six grandchildren, his sister, Patricia Smith of Franklin Lakes, NJ, also two nieces.

Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
